Micro-electronic packages:
Technology source was USA and the client was supplying these products to the who’s who in Defence, Aerospace, Railways and Medical industries. Client wanted to join hands with reliable Indian manufacturer to produce these parts in India for catering the needs of the Indian market as also export from India to rest of the world. After mapping more than 12 potential companies on multiple parameters which include financial capabilities, marketing capabilities, manufacturing capabilities, work culture, work ethos, management outlook and vision, business commitments, etc., we finally chose the one with who this project moved ahead and the deal closed.
Forging plant:
For a large sized US company, production of forgings was becoming a big challenge due cost competitiveness, pollution and such other issues. The company approached Knoval to find the suitable partner, where again, after doing mapping of over 8 right sized and right cultured companies, one company got shortlisted and project concluded.
Wheel plant:
An Indian company, as part of its growth plan, wanted to acquire a foreign running but stressed asset to have a foot in the market. Through our business partners in USA, we identified one such company which was available for a complete takeover and assisted our client with the complete due diligence process.
Railway product for India:
Being in front of the Indian Railways at all times, we have access to potential technologies that they are seeking. One such technology was in automatic door closing system for which, we got our Indian client to join hands with a technology partner from South Korea.
